About

Lizzie Mayson is a London-based food, drink and lifestyle photographer and director with over a decade of experience shooting commercial campaigns and editorial features worldwide. Trained in fine art and portraiture, she brings a painter's attention to light and a strong sense of character to every frame, capturing both the table and the world unfolding around it.
Her commercial food and drink photography includes campaigns for Hermès, Harrods and Chandon, alongside supermarket campaigns for Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Marks & Spencer. As a regular editorial contributor, her work appears in The Sunday Times, The Telegraph, Monocle, GQ and The Guardian.
Previously managing editor of Table Magazine for three years, Lizzie has a strong presence in the editorial space. She has shot over 25 cookbooks, working with both established chefs such as Theo Randall and debut authors such as Alissa Timoshkina and Verna Gao. Her first cookbook as both creative director and photographer is currently in development.
In 2025 she was named Woman Photographer of the Year at the World Food Photography Awards, presented by Yotam Ottolenghi.
