At Home in Provence

We shot across some twenty-five locations to trace the four worlds of living and eating in Provence, le village, les vignes, la côte and la ville, from the beaches of St Tropez to the stone lanes of Cotignac and the café terraces of Aix. The seasonal ingredients always set the pace: Cavaillon melons and apricots stacked in market crates, muscat grapes carried home in paper, ajo blanco chilled against the midday heat, peaches blistered on the grill with torn ham. Every dish appears where it was grown, poured or shared, among the vines chasing the light, on pebbled shores, beside the pétanque pitch for sun downers, letting the landscape season every frame.
